Woman With Down Syndrome Supports Obama; Sad

This is truly disgusting. Both on the part of the woman who is supporting President Obama and that the campaign is willing to use her. Obama and Democrats are so extreme on abortion that they deem an unborn baby with down syndrome to not have a life worthy of living. They would prefer the woman abort her unborn baby if it has down syndrome. So when "Brittany" expresses her support for Obama it is quiet troubling.

I started working part-time in 2004 when I was in high school. I graduated in 2008 and have worked at that job ever since. My mother applied for Social Security's Supplemental Security Income program (SSI) for me when I was 19. I really want to make lots of money and have a hot tub someday, but SSI subtracts my paychecks from my SSI benefits, so I don’t have much to put into a savings account. I am now working for a store, folding clothes and doing returns. I like my job a lot! I make $4.98 an hour and I am allowed to work 25-30 hours a week (I have paid $542.72 in federal, FICA, state, and city taxes this year as of August 31st). I just got my own apartment and share it with another girl like me. I get to pay rent now ($325 a month) and pay for my telephone and cable because I like the Disney Channel. I was not allowed to take my dog with me, but I can hang all of my Hannah Montana posters on my bedroom wall. My mother still has to help me with my medications and handling my money and stuff. I have also included my picture, not just because I'm cute, but because I wanted to give you a face of one of the 47% to share with Mr. Romney. NYC: Underage Girls Can Get The Morning After Pill Without Their Parents Consent But Cannot Buy Large Soft Drinks

Here is a classic example of today's Liberalism for you. A city that wages a war on fat and what people eat is also waging a war against parental rights. Underage girls cannot buy large sugary drinks but they can get morning after pills without their parents knowledge. From Life News:

The New York City Department of Education is furnishing morning-after pills and other birth control drugs to students at 13 city high schools and without parental permission. School nurses supplied with the drugs, which can cause a very early abortion, are dispensing “Plan B” and other oral or injectable birth control to girls as young as 14 without telling their parents — unless the parents opt out of the program after receiving a school letter informing them of the new policy. According to a Fox News report, New York City high schools have supplied free condoms to teens in the past, but this is the first time city schools have given the birth control drugs that come under Connecting Adolescents to Comprehensive Health, known as CATCH, which is part of a city-wide pregnancy prevention program. The New York Post has more on the situation: It might be a nationwide first as well. The National Association of School Nurses could cite no other school district supplying Plan B. So far, during an unpublicized pilot program in five city schools last year, 567 students received Plan B tablets and 580 students received Reclipsen birth-control pills, the city Department of Health told The Post. This fall, students can also get Depo-Provera, a birth-control drug injected once every three months, officials said. Oral and injectable contraceptives require prescriptions, which, in the CATCH program, are written by Health Department doctors. Plan B is typically sold as an over-the-counter medication, but those under age 18 need a prescription. For the CATCH program, students can tell a trained school nurse they had unprotected sex. The student will then get a test to see if she is already pregnant; if not, the prescription is issued and she can walk out with the pill.

UK's Health Care System Tolerates Infanticide; ObamaCare To Make It A Reality In America

What will the future of American health care be like if President Obama is re-elected and ObamaCare is never repealed? The United Kingdom has the answer and our infanticide tolerating President is seeking policies that will duplicate this evil. From Life News:

British doctors are coming under fire for letting an unborn child born just before 22 weeks of pregnancy die. The National health Service, the government-run health system that Congress may replicate in legislation in the United States, is blamed for guidelines disallowing treatment. Sarah Capewell begged physicians to save the life of her tiny son, whom she planned to name Jayden, but they said national guidelines preventing treatment on newborns born so early prevented them from caring for him. Capewell told the London Daily Mail newspaper that doctors refused to see her son, who lived almost two hours on his own without any medical support before dying. She said Jayden (pictured above right) was breathing on his own without any medical assistance and was moving his arms and legs, but medical staff refused to transfer him to a neonatal intensive care unit. The newspaper indicated Capewell said medical staff told her they would have been able to treat her son had he been born two days later. The Nuffield Council drew up the guidelines that are not mandatory but followed closely by doctors and medical workers. The guidelines are based on the belief that unborn children born so early in pregnancy have very little chance of surviving and that any medical care and treatment is futile and a waste of money and resources. "When he was born, he put out his arms and legs and pushed himself over," she told the newspaper. "I kept asking for the doctors but the midwife said, "They won’t come and help, sweetie. Make the best of the time you have with him.’" Doctors told Capewell to treat the birth as a miscarriage and she was forced to endure having a chaplain tell her about funerals and bereavement even as she tried to get medical care for her baby. The mother, who has one daughter but also five miscarriages and was hoping for the baby, told the Daily Mail, "I was sitting there, reading this leaflet about planning a funeral and thinking, this is my baby, he isn’t even born yet, let alone dead." After learning that an unborn child had survived at an earlier stage of pregnancy in the United States and that the baby received stellar medical care, Capewell is launching a new bid to change the laws and guidelines in England. ”I could not believe that one little girl, Amillia Taylor, is perfectly healthy after being born in Florida in 2006 at 21 weeks and six days," she said. "Thousands of women have experienced this. The doctors say the babies won’t survive but how do they know if they are not giving them a chance?" Labour MP Tony Wright is reportedly backing her bid to change the laws and guidelines...

So much for Liberalism looking out for "the least of these". This is what happens when a society and government abandons the idea that we are created in the image of God and have inherent value because of it. Another thing getting totally lost in the overblown reaction to Senate candidate Todd Adkins' comments about rape is the result of that rape, namely, the newly created life. The newly created life still has value, an intrinsic value, and the way in which it was created does not lesson that. Rebecca Kiesslin is one such person who makes a powerful argument as to why all abortion should be illegal, even in cases of rape. People should be outraged at how the Democrat Party cheapens life and justifies the unrestricted murder of the unborn, not if someone considers a rape to be "legitimate" or not.

3D Printing Is The Latest Threat To Pro-Abortion Advocates (Video)

Pro-abortion feminists and Democrats are afraid of technology when it comes to abortion. The more we can see what is going on inside the mother's womb the more their argument about the fetus just being a random clump of cells is undermined. They would prefer to keep women in the Dark Ages of prenatal medicine and ignorant about the babies growing inside them. The latest advancement that must be causing them to lose sleep at night is 3D printers. Now it can print the unborn baby and allow the mother and father to hold an image of their baby before he or she is born. From Yahoo:

A Japanese clinic is offering parents-to-be the chance to hold their baby months before the child leaves the womb. Using a "Bio-Texture" process and MRI scans, the technology offered by Fasotec and Hiroo Ladies Clinic in Tokyo, Japan, creates a 3D model of the mother's fetus and womb. The "Shape of an Angel" service costs 100,000 (about $1,276), not including the cost of the MRI. "We actually got three expectant mothers to try this out. They said it felt great to see how their babies looked before birth, and to be able to actually hold the inside of their own body," Fasotec representative Tomohiro Kinoshita told DigInfo. "They also enjoyed looking at the model after giving birth, thinking, 'This is how my baby looked inside me' and recalling how it felt to be pregnant."

Woman In Chicago Killed By Abortion

Yes, women both inside and outside of the womb are victims of the feminists insisting on unrestricted abortions. The latest casualty is a woman in Chicago. From CBS 2:

The family of a Chicago woman who died after an abortion at Planned Parenthood says it wants answers about her death. Tonya Reaves, 24, died late Friday night from a hemorrhage, with a cervical dilation and evacuation, as well as an intrauterine pregnancy as contributing causes, according to the medical examiner’s office. She died after she’d had an abortion at Planned Parenthood at 18 S. Michigan Av, according to the medical examiner’s office. Her death was ruled an accident, but the Reaves family wants to know more, especially Tonya’s twin sister Toni. “We were born the same day. She was my other half,” Toni said. Toni Reaves said the family is trying to get through this...

North Carolina Cuts Funding To Planned Parenthood

The North Carolina state legislature has de-funded Planned Parenthood — with legislative leaders agreeing to a state budget that redirects $343,000 in family planning funding from Planned Parenthood, the nation’s biggest abortion business, to county health departments. The budget was enacted at midnight last night after the legislature voted to override Governor Bev Perdue’s veto and it was the second time the legislature overrode a Perdue veto of a budget de-funding Planned Parenthood. Today, the Susan B. Anthony List, a national pro-life organization, praised Majority Leader Paul Stam, State Representatives Justin Burr, Marilyn Avila, Nelson Dollar, and the North Carolina legislature for overriding Perdue’s veto. “Planned Parenthood is an abortion-centered, profit-driven business, not the caring health provider for women and girls they purport to be. They neither need nor deserve taxpayer dollars,” said Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of the Susan B. Anthony List. “This budget adjustment does not cut a dime of family planning funding. It does protect the consciences of pro-life taxpayers by sending funds to county health departments which do not perform abortions.” Dannenfelser continued: “In the last year Planned Parenthood was exposed as a willing ally of alleged human traffickers, culpable of the waste, abuse, and potential fraud of millions of taxpayer dollars, and most recently as a facilitator of sex-selective abortions. Despite these scandals, President Obama has refused to allow a single tax dollar to be cut from Planned Parenthood at the federal level. As he fights to protect Planned Parenthood’s taxpayer-funded bottom line, Americans nationwide are firmly resolved to defund big abortion and protect the conscience rights of taxpayers. North Carolina legislators will not be the last to take action.” Last year, pro-life legislators in the North Carolina General Assembly voted to strip Planned Parenthood of roughly $434,000 in the budget. Governor Bev Purdue vetoed the budget, which was overridden by the legislature. The provision specifically named Planned Parenthood, and a legal challenge by the abortion business resulted in a preliminary injunction. The language passed in this year’s budget revision does not specifically target Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood of Central North Carolina (PPCNC) filed suit in federal court to declare invalid the portion of the state budget that yanked its tax money. Planned Parenthood CEO Janet Colm claimed the abortion chain was wrongly singled out for a revocation of tax dollars and complains the abortion business may have to close or scale back offices and potentially lay off staff if the funding is not received. U.S. District Court Judge James Beaty heard arguments from both sides in Winston Salem and eventually ordered North Carolina to honor its contract with Planned Parenthood pending the outcome of the lawsuit. Beaty issued a preliminary injunction siding with the abortion giant in its demand to receive $212,000 of the funds.

The Democrats might want to reconsider North Carolina as the place for their convention this year. Clearly the Democrat Party is out of touch with the values of the state.

The shear rage that Kenrick Bradley displays here gives us some insight into what lies beneath with those who want abortion on demand. Anything that exposes what abortion is really about, the dismemberment and murder of a defenseless baby, must be eliminated from the public consciousness. From Life Site News:

A camera captured a dramatic scene last month when an infuriated man stormed up cursing to a pro-life protester holding images of an aborted child by the roadside, tore the signs out of his hands and threw them away before assaulting him in an apparent attempt to destroy video evidence. The conflict began when Kenrick Bradley approached Anti-Choice Project co-founder Andrew St.Hilaire during a protest in front of Olympic College in Bremerton, Washington, on May 2, 2012. Bradley complained that the images were traumatizing to his girlfriend, who had apparently miscarried. “My girl lost her f****** baby, and we’re driving past this s*** and she has to see this s***,” said Bradley. “I’m very sorry about that that,” said St. Hilaire. “You guys are standing out here with f****** cameras like this s***‘s OK?” Bradley continued. Bradley eventually grabs the large images, which showed the tiny body parts of children lost to abortion, and threw them over a fence. He later returns to St. Hilaire, who is already on the phone with police and grabs at his camera as a second camera across the street captures the action. “Hi, I’m being assaulted. I’m being assaulted!” St. Hilaire says into the phone as the struggle ensues...

Communist China's Evil One-Child Policy Leads To Dead Baby Placed Next To Mother After Forced Abortion

This is the cruel and evil end to the view that denies the unborn baby is not a person. Why not put the dead baby next the mother after the child had been forcibly aborted? Is this not like looking at a pulled tooth that was rotting inside the mouth? After all, abortion advocates would have us believe that the unborn is like a parasite. In China a mother had her baby forcibly killed through abortion and the officials put the murdered baby next to her for a picture. From Life News:

A human rights group has learned that a woman was forcibly aborted at seven months of pregnancy on June 3 in Shanxi Province, China. Women’s Rights Without Frontiers informed LifeNews that a new report from the China-based human rights organization 64Tianwang indicates the woman, Feng Jianmei, was beaten and dragged into a vehicle by a group of family planning officials while her husband, Deng Jiyuan, was out working. The officials asked for RMB 40,000 in fines from Feng Jianmei’s family and, when they did not receive the money, they forcibly aborted Feng at seven months, laying the body of her aborted baby next to her in the bed (seen in picture, right). Feng is under medical treatment in Ankang City, Zhenpin County, Zengjia Town, Yupin village. Reggie Littlejohn, president of Women’s Rights Without Frontiers, said, “This is an outrage. No legitimate government would commit or tolerate such an act.” “Those who are responsible should be prosecuted for crimes against humanity,” Littlejohn said. “WRWF calls on the United States government and the leaders of the free world to strongly condemn forced abortion and all coercive family planning in China.” The report comes after global pressure appeared to have stopped Chinese family planning officials in Changsha, Hunan province from following through with a threatened forced abortion on a woman and her unborn baby in the fifth month of pregnancy...

We should be very concerned when we hear arguments about controlling the population, especially from those concerned about global warming. The two are intimately linked together. This is where we end up if people reject the the belief that we are created in the image of God. Any brutal act can be justified by those who reject God's design and order to the universe, especially as it relates to the value of human life. Being created in the image of God gives us an intrinsic value that no government should be allowed to take away. Sadly, in America we are well on the path towards the dwelling place of evil that is already thriving in China. It is just a question of when we arrive at the same destination.

Three Chinese officials involved in this horrific act have been suspended. Big deal, this about the truth getting out more about the fact that this was done. Unless China changes this policy, this kind of thing will happen again. Maybe it already has.
