UPDATE: Forced Abortions And Forced Compliance To Perfrom Abortions

I noted a while ago the pro-life move by President Bush to prevent those in the medical field from being forced to do abortions. Unfortunately, now we have the most radical pro-abortion President in our history and those who are pro-life are going to start to suffer the consequences. Ideas have consequences and a pro-abortion world view necessitate that abortion must be forced upon society. Even those who are against it must be intimidated into submission. This means that, and no surprise, President Obama will overturn President Bush's policy of protecting pro-life health care workers from being forced to participate in abortions. This could just be the tip of the iceberg.

Finally some common sense abortion restrictions are passing like the one in Oklahoma.

"The Oklahoma House has voted to prohibit physicians from performing abortions solely on account of the gender of a woman's fetus.

The House passed the bill 93-4 Wednesday and sent it to the Senate for consideration.

The measure's author, Rep. Dan Sullivan of Tulsa, says that in many countries aborting babies because of their sex is a common practice. Sullivan says he has no evidence the practice has occurred in Oklahoma but that legislation will make sure it never does.

Opponents argued that the measure creates another barrier to a woman's right to get an abortion, affirmed by the U.S. Supreme Court's landmark Roe v. Wade decision in 1973.

The bill also requires physicians who perform abortions to report certain information to the Oklahoma State Department of Health."

Pro-Life Pastor Sentenced To Jail

A pastor has been sentenced to 30 days in jail and 3 years probation for peacefully protesting abortion.

"Hoye was found guilty of violating a local ordinance that dictates that he must stay at least eight feet away from anyone entering the clinic. He was found guilty, even though video demonstrated that he did not violate the law. Dana Cody of Life Legal Defense Foundation says Hoye was ordered to jail for 30 days, fined $1,130, and placed on probation for three years."

How much longer before being pro-life will be crime and they will try and shut down pro-life health clinics?

Pro-Life Group Taken To Alabama Jail

The intimidation of pro-life activists is real and could be growing. In Alabama a group of pro-life advocates were taken to jail for peacefully making their case.

"Members reported being treated with contempt both by police officers and jail guards. Kortney Blythe, 26, Director of the Survivors Campus Life Tours, claimed she was videotaping the event when an officer approached her from behind, pulled her arm behind her back, and escorted Blythe without explanation into a squad car. She joined Shara Guengerich, 18, whom the group says had also been detained without explanation while distributing literature. They said Guengerich was handcuffed so tightly that she was crying from the pain, but arresting officers ignored her requests for relief."

Rationed And Pro-Abortion Health Care Hidden In "Stimulus" Bill

Betsy McCaughey is reporting that there is a totalitarian Trojan horse in the Socialist monstrosity being called a "stimulus" bill. The Trojan horse is socialized health care. The radical Left wing impulse to never let a good crisis go to waste is being followed with wicked precision.

I guess it does not matter that anytime Socialized health care is implemented it results in rationed care. And given the Liberal ethic of death and using the compassion card to justify killing the unborn, sick and elderly, this is not a good development.

If the Obama administration’s economic stimulus bill passes the Senate in its current form, seniors in the U.S. will face similar rationing. Defenders of the system say that individuals benefit in younger years and sacrifice later.

The stimulus bill will affect every part of health care, from medical and nursing education, to how patients are treated and how much hospitals get paid. The bill allocates more funding for this bureaucracy than for the Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force combined (90-92, 174-177, 181).

Hiding health legislation in a stimulus bill is intentional. Daschle supported the Clinton administration’s health-care overhaul in 1994, and attributed its failure to debate and delay. A year ago, Daschle wrote that the next president should act quickly before critics mount an opposition. “If that means attaching a health-care plan to the federal budget, so be it,” he said. “The issue is too important to be stalled by Senate protocol.”

Infanticide Is More Common Than We Would Care To Admit

What more do we need to know about the abortion industry before people wake up to the fact that abortion means infanticide? Here we have another horrific example of the consistent logic of the abortion absolutist position working itself out in real life. A baby born alive is thrown away like garbage. This bit of news that exposes how truly evil the pro-choice position is, comes on a day when President Obama has the audacity to claim that God does not condone the murder of innocent life.

I pleaded with Christians not to vote for Obama before this election. His Liberal world view cannot but bring forth evil actions or require the tolerance of them. It is a biblical principle of idolatry that when idolatry becomes the norm in a society then every false god is worshiped and every evil action is accepted except the the one true God and good is punished as if it were evil.

As Christians we can think how evil the culture is getting but what do we see when we look at what we are now tolerating in our midst? Not only is the culture propagating evil but even worse Christians are succumbing to the spirit of the age and doing it as well. Instead of Christians being salt and light to the world, the world is now transforming Christians to look like itself. Let us stand against the rising tide of evil in our culture and in our churches.

People Now Realize President Obama Is Pro-Abortion

I have to wonder where were people's minds during the campaign. President Obama is probably the most pro-abortion President we have ever had. He was even willing to tolerate outright infanticide as a state Senator in Illinois. So it should be no surprise that he is advancing abortion throughout the world. If people truly were opposed to this as numbers indicate, then they should not have voted for him. Even Speaker Nancy Pelosi let her true beliefs slip just recently, in that she sees abortion as a good way to keep the population down. But now it is too late, we are going to get what the American people voted for.
