South Carolina Moves In Morally Right Direction On Abortion

It seems most people would find it a reasonable thing to ask a woman considering abortion to wait 24 hours after visiting a clinic that provides them. Thankfully, South Carolina is headed in that direction. It is truly a sad state when a new mother can make snap a decision, often under the pressure of the father of the unborn child who does not want to be a man by taking responsibility for the new life he helped create, and kill her unborn baby without really giving it much thought. She may not even consider adoption at all, an option that ultimately leaves the woman without the responsibility of caring for the baby, but at least considers what is good for the unborn baby.

Rhetoric Of "Abortion Reduction" Is Deceptive

Pro-life advocates need to be very cautious when interacting with the Obama Administration. While President Obama will claim to want to reduce the total number of abortions in the United States, every thing he does will in fact lead to more abortions here and throughout the world. The new spirit of bipartisanship is really a one way street, it is President Obama's way or the highway. While he may appear to give in on certain things, it is really only an appearance while his pro-abortion absolutist agenda keeps marching on.

A Change Is Coming In Pro-Abortion Rhetoric

It looks like pro-abortion advocates are going to incorporate seize on "change" and change their rhetoric. It now going to be pro-child to kill the unborn. The most insidious quote in the article:

“Pro-family” abortion and reproductive rights would include “the sacredness of women, the sacredness of mothering, the sacredness of family, the sacredness of our children,” she said.

It is now going to better to kill the unborn then let them be born into poverty, or in a less than perfect condition. The best way to eliminate poverty is to preemptively kill those who are going to live in it via abortion on demand and with no restriction. How can one justify the value of children when they advocate for the indiscriminate murder of them prior to birth?

Some Hope In Defeating FOCA With Senator Casey Jr.

If Democratic Senator Bob Casey Jr. is truly committed to the pro-life position, then there is hope in defeating the Freedom of Choice Act.

The Survivor

A powerful song about someone surviving an abortion by Phil Keaggy. Thankfully someone has put it to video to make it even more powerful. The song uses a passage out of Psalm 31 for the chorus:

"For I hear the slander of many;
there is terror on every side;
they conspire against me
and plot to take my life.

But I trust in you, O LORD;
I say, "You are my God."

My times are in your hands;
deliver me from my enemies
and from those who pursue me." Psalm 31:13-15

Jesus warns us about not to stop children from coming to Him. I cannot possibly imagine how He must be grieved by what we are allowed to be done to them through abortion.

"Then they also brought infants to Him that He might touch them; but when the disciples saw it, they rebuked them. But Jesus called them to Him and said, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God. Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it.” Luke 18:15-17

The Culture Of Death Marches On Stronger In 2009

It is going to be a trying time for pro-life advocates in 2009 and probably until 2012. The Liberal Culture of Death will control almost all the strings of governmental power. It will be even more important for those truly defending the weakest among us to encourage each other and keep on fighting for what we believe in.

Beware Of Religious Abortion Advocates

With the anniversary of Roe vs Wade coming up later this month, many are ready to pay homage again to the pagan idol Moloch. One report comes from a feminist website. The Rev. Rebecca Turner has already released her "blessing" for the day. This is what results from the idolatry of Liberalism, the profane becomes "holy" and evil becomes "good". Here is the most offensive part of this "blessing":

May these doors be for the professionals who work here a place of opportunity and challenge, a place to use their talents and develop new skills, a place to satisfy their innermost desires to be of holy service to others.

She asks for blessing on the doors of abortion clinics and actually says that those who murder unborn babies are providing "holy service to others". Jesus warned us about wolves in sheep's clothing and the type of fuit such people cannot but bring forth.

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? Even so, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a bad tree bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Therefore by their fruits you will know them.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’Matthew 7:15-23

Lawyer Who Helped Kill Terri Schiavo Is Liked by Obama

It is really no surprise that someone who supports killing the sick will be high up in President Obama's administration. The lawyer that helped to starve Terri Schiavo to death will be the third ranking lawyer in the land. Those of us who believe in a Judeo-Christian world view need to get ready for the coming culture and values war under President Obama.

Milk

I have been hearing a lot about it. It's a movie featuring Sean Penn who plays Harvey Milk. It has already won numerous awards and is up for a golden globe. In 2008 a bill was up it would require the governor proclaim May 22 each year as Harvey Milk Day. It would encourage public schools and educational institutions to conduct suitable commemorative exercises on that date. It won majority votes with senate and assembly and was vetoed by Governor Schwarzenegger on September 30.

Harvey Milk was the first openly gay man elected to political office. I wonder if the release of this movie has anything to do with Proposition 8. Which by the way I keep hearing the attorney general who said he would stand by the people of course is not. Our voices seem worthless sometimes. Regardless we must persevere and fight hard just as the opposing side does. STAND STRONG- FIGHT HARD!
