"A 37-year-old man was booked early this morning on suspicion of murder in the death of an unborn child believed to be his, Los Angeles police said.
Joshua Woodward, whom police described as a businessman with "ties to Chicago and Miami," was taken into custody by homicide detectives about 3:15 a.m. today in the 3600 block of West Third Street. He was booked at the Wilshire Jail and is being held in lieu of $2 million bail, police said.
Woodward's arrest followed an investigation of "the suspicious circumstances of a miscarriage" reported Oct. 19, around the 13th week of gestation, police said. They released no other details but said the case would be presented to the Los Angeles County district attorney's office on Tuesday.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call homicide detectives at (213) 473-0446. After hours or on weekends, calls should be made to (877) LAPD-24-7."
In America, abortions are performed up to the moment delivery so this case can only be proceeding on the assumption that the mother wanted the baby. This proves the complete incoherence of America's abortion policies. The unborn have value only if the mother wants the child. There is no logical reason that such an arbitrary view of human personhood ought not be applied to young children and adults.

Sadly true. And in some societies, even that isn't enough to save the child from gov enforced "population control".
