Live Action Exposes Planned Parenthood In Alabama

How many more examples of Planned Parenthood covering up statutory rape do we need before all funding is cut? Live Action has exposed yet another Planned Parenthood location that has done just that.

Job well done.

Planned Parenthood In El Paso Closes Down

Some good news on the abortion industry front as Planned Parenthood is closing it's doors in El Paso, Texas.

"Planned Parenthood of El Paso is closing all six of its health-care centers because of financial problems, its administrators said today.

The closures will occur Tuesday.

"Our number one priority is our clients, and we want them to know that we made this decision in their best interest and we want to make sure there is a smooth transition of care," said Analinda Moreno, interim executive director.

"We are deeply saddened that financial pressures do not allow the agency to continue to operate."

Planned Parenthood provides a range of services, including reproductive care and treatment of HIV and AIDS.

Moreno said employees have begun communicating with patients to begin medical record transfers."

Notice how the article uses the euphemism of "reproductive care" instead of abortion. I hope there are pro-life clinics in the area or churches that will step up and make a difference here.

Virginia Court Upholds Ban On Partial Birth Abortion

"Judge J. Harvie Wilkinson of the 4th U.S. Circuit of Appeals wrote in his opinion, "The fact is that we – civilized people – are retreating to the haven of our Constitution to justify dismembering a partly born child and crushing its skull. Surely centuries hence, people will look back on this gruesome practice done in the name of fundamental law by a society of high achievement. And they will shudder.”

"A partially born child is among the weakest, most helpless beings in our midst and on that account exerts a special claim on our protection," Wilkinson added.

In a 6-5 vote on Wednesday, the court ruled the Virginia Act – which prohibits killing a human infant who has been born alive – constitutional.

Alliance Defense Fund Senior Counsel Jordan Lorence commented earlier, “No one should be allowed to decide that an innocent life is worthless. Virginia has legitimately chosen to protect innocent life from a terrible procedure, and the court was right to uphold Virginia’s law."

The partial-birth abortion ban was initially struck down by a 4th Circuit panel. The Supreme Court ordered the panel to reexamine its decision when it upheld the federal Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act two years ago. In 2008, after review, the panel again found the ban to be unconstitutional.

The entire 4th Circuit court was then asked to hear the case.

Opponents of the ban claimed the state law defined the term "partial birth infanticide" "so broadly" that it would ban even the safest and most common second trimester method of abortion, namely the dilation and evacuation method, thus exposing all doctors who perform standard D&Es to prosecution, conviction, and imprisonment. They also claimed the ban failed to include an exception to protect the mother's health.

But in its decision, the appeals court said the law specifically exempts the standard D&E procedure and provides "sufficient clarity" as to what conduct is prohibited, and it also adequately protects women's health.

The court also noted that to hold the ban as unconstitutional for all circumstances "based on the possible rare circumstance presented...is not appropriate under any standard for facial challenges."

The Bible is clear, the oppression of fatherless is a uniquely wicked act. For a collection of verses that deal directly on this issue you can go here.

The Liberal Feminist Defense Of The Hijab And Burka Proves Their Hypocrisy

This post is taken from my other blog and does not bear directly on the issue of abortion, but indirectly as this is another example where feminists support something that harms women. It does, however, give a good insight into the kind of things Liberal feminists support. Things that are actually anti-woman, like supporting a woman's oppression by Islam when she wears a Hijab or Burka:

Apparently American feminists would rather support President Obama's appeasement of radical Islam's enslavement of women than support taking a stand against the Hijab and Burka. Here is a link to a video of women defending the wearing of such oppressive attire.

"Banning the burqa doesn't further women's rights - it limits them. Now, obviously there's a difference in Islamic women's dress from the hijab to the burqa - but legally banning any of them erases all agency from Muslim women. (I'm especially wary of Sarkozy's comments and this potential ban given that France banned headscarves from public schools in 2004.)"

And from feministe:

"Outlawing the burqa won’t make women who cover themselves decide to walk outside in a sundress; it’ll just mean that women and girls won’t leave the home as much. The women who are supposedly victimized and imprisoned by some pieces of cloth will instead be prisoners in their own homes and communities."

A truly unbelievable statement by a Liberal feminist. This example epitomizes what is wrong with Liberalism, Liberals would rather appease, accommodate and find common ground with those who will seek to oppress them after power is handed over.

Maybe this girl, in a burka, was not victimized:

And some videos:

Sad how this is justified:

The only response to this is a call to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, the exclusive Savior of mankind.

"We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one. We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true—even in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

Dear children, keep yourselves from idols." 1 John 5:19-21

Infantiicde, Obama, And Egypt

In responding to the grandiose and godlike comparisons of President Obama to ancient kings, I argued that we ought to compare Obama to King Manasseh. I would now like to draw this comparison out to an Egyptian Pharaoh, while noting that the root cause of each comparison is the same as is the evil fruit that is produced.

In the New Testament book of Acts, the apostle Stephen talks about the wickedness of the Egyptian Pharaoh who had enslaved the Israelites:

"As the time drew near for God to fulfill his promise to Abraham, the number of our people in Egypt greatly increased. Then another king, who knew nothing about Joseph, became ruler of Egypt. He dealt treacherously with our people and oppressed our forefathers by forcing them to throw out their newborn babies so that they would die." Acts 7:17-19

Going all the way back to the Old Testament book of Exodus do we see what this looked like:

The king of Egypt said to the Hebrew midwives, whose names were Shiphrah and Puah, "When you help the Hebrew women in childbirth and observe them on the delivery stool, if it is a boy, kill him; but if it is a girl, let her live." The midwives, however, feared God and did not do what the king of Egypt had told them to do; they let the boys live. Then the king of Egypt summoned the midwives and asked them, "Why have you done this? Why have you let the boys live?"

The midwives answered Pharaoh, "Hebrew women are not like Egyptian women; they are vigorous and give birth before the midwives arrive."

So God was kind to the midwives and the people increased and became even more numerous. And because the midwives feared God, he gave them families of their own.

Then Pharaoh gave this order to all his people: "Every boy that is born you must throw into the Nile, but let every girl live." Exodus 1:15-22

As Christians we ought to be grieving that so many of our brothers are sister are supporting the murder of unborn and newly born babies. President Obama has more in common with the morally depraved Egyptians and the idolatry of King Manasseh because of his tolerance and even promotion of abortion. Obama is a pro-abortion absolutist who even accepted outright infanticide as a logical and necessary consequence to his ideas. Obama even defended his votes that prevented the intervention to save newborn babies, regardless of their being wanted by the mother.

It has been said that ideas have consequences, well idolatry has consequences and necessary consequences at that. Idolatry cannot be lead to evil fruit being produced.

This moral aspect of idolatry will lead to the open violation of God's Commandments. Evil will be called good and darkness will be called light:

"Woe to those who call evil good
and good evil,
who put darkness for light
and light for darkness,
who put bitter for sweet
and sweet for bitter." Isaiah 5:20

Society, the State, and even the priests of God will become advocates of sin while punishing righteousness and those who seek to live righteous lives:

"Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy." 1 Peter 1:13-16

"But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people belonging to God, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." 1 Peter 2:9

This is why it is critical that Christians keep themselves from idols, otherwise we will become instruments of lawlessness. Christians are priests of God and ought to be set apart to instruments of righteousness because we worship a righteous God, it is a grievous thing that many under the sway of the idolatrous and false religion of Liberalism are helping to propagate sin.

Kill Your Baby For Free In Honor Of George Tiller

I guess the best way to honor an abortionist is by killing more unborn babies and by doing it for free.

"An abortion business in Pennsylvania is drawing criticism or giving away free abortions on Tuesday in honor of slain late-term abortion practitioner George Tiller. The Philadelphia Women's Center said the free abortions were meant to show appreciation for Tiller, who was allegedly killed by extremist gunman Scott Roeder.

Town Hall columnist Jillian Bandes said a staff member at the abortion center said an unspecified number of free abortions were done yesterday for Tiller's “memory and legacy.”

However, by the end of the day, the center stopped doing free abortions and indicated it wouldn't likely do it again.

"She also said that there had not been free abortion giveaways in the past, and that there were no plans to give any away in the future. Under normal circumstances, abortions would not be au gratis at the clinic," Bandes writes.

Bandes quoted Charmaine Yoest, the head of Americans United for Life, as condemning the free abortion idea.

“It’s really sad that they would give away for free without recognizing that in an emotional sense the abortion is very costly,”

Elizabeth Barnes, the director of the abortion center, recently talked bashed pro-life advocates following the Tiller killing and attempted to make it appear that it was supported by the pro-life movement in reaction to political losses in the presidential election.

"When the pendulum swung in the direction of protecting women's rights, we expected something. The way the antis are reacting has changed, they're taking more liberties, pressing the boundaries of legal, civil protest," she said.

Operation Rescue president Troy Newman also condemned the free abortions and said they only injured women and killed children.

"There seems to be no comprehension of the value of human life with these people. Killing babies for free to honor someone who was murdered can only be described as sick," he told LifeNews.com.

"There is no such thing as a 'free abortion,'" said Newman. "It costs the life of an innocent baby and puts the women at risk for increased problems in their lives. The loss of each innocent life diminishes us all."

"If the people running that abortion clinic really wanted to help women, they would follow the Tiller family's example and close their clinic for good," he said.

Ironically, Tiller himself once offered free late-term abortions to his customers.

In January 2004, Tiller commemorated the anniversary of the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision, allowing virtually unlimited abortions throughout pregnancy, by offering free abortions.

He said he did so "to draw attention to the increasing pressure being placed on abortion rights," in an interview at the time.

According to Mary Kay Culp, Executive Director of Kansans for Life, Tiller and his associates performed 18 free abortions for women on Medicaid in January 2002. Tiller had done free abortions every year for 2002, 2003 and 2004."

Is this somehow related to comparing George Tiller to Martin Luther King Junior?

What Will Feminists Say About The Home "Gender Test" Kit?

I wonder if any feminist or the ladies at feministing will have anything substantive to say about the home "gender test".

"A test that can be taken at home to determine the gender of a fetus in the early stages of pregnancy is sparking a debate over whether it will foster sex-specific abortions.

The 10-minute test can be taken just eight weeks after a woman becomes pregnant. In contrast, ultrasound exams can’t determine gender until well into the second trimester, usually at 18 weeks.

The U.S. company IntelliGender makes the test, which has been available in the United States since 2006, was launched in Australia last month, and soon will be available in New Zealand.

A woman using the test combines her urine with chemicals that then identify elements found in the hormones of a woman pregnant with a girl, according to instructions on the test kits.

If the urine turns green or black, the fetus is male; if it is orange or yellow, the baby is female.

New Zealand anti-abortion group Voice for Life is concerned that people who use the test, which costs about $100, then might terminate pregnancies on the grounds of sex selection, RedOrbit.com reports.

Sex selection terminations are not allowed in New Zealand, although they are acceptable if a woman were determined to be mentally unbalanced. However, gender-based abortion is common in Asia, particularly to select for sons, and Swedish health authorities ruled last month that gender-based abortion can't be stopped because it is not illegal.

Termination for sex selection is a huge issue overseas that is causing concern for both pro-life and medical groups, the New Zealand Herald quoted Voice for Life spokesman Bernard Moran as saying.

The test would only spur abortion fears in New Zealand over what people will do after finding out the gender of their baby, Moran said.

"Certain ethnic minorities here might be more prone to use it," Moran told the Herald.

Medical groups echo the worries.

“The concern we would have is that people would then terminate pregnancies on the grounds of sex selection,” Dr. Ted Weaver, president of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, told LifeSiteNews.com.

The tests technically are not pregnancy tests, so they do not need state authorization under the Medicines Act, the Health Ministry's Medsafe unit ruled.

The idea appalls some, including Australian Christian Lobby managing director Jim Wallace, who told LifeSiteNews.com, “That we would allow a product that would allow eugenics to be practiced and started in the home is just unbelievable.”

David Portnoy, managing director of Melbourne-based Early Image, told the Herald the test has a laboratory accuracy of 90 percent and real-world accuracy of 82 percent, but IntelliGender will not publicize such data because patents are pending.

“I would be amazed if anybody was to do anything so drastic based on a urine test that has a 90 per cent accuracy rate," Portnoy said.

On its Web site, IntelliGender claims the test is designed “as a fun, positive pre-birth experience for the parents-to-be,” and does not recommend users make “any financial, emotional or family planning decisions based on the test results."

But Weaver, an outspoken opponent of the controversial test, said: "We're all about women having choices, but we want the choices to be valid."

I will not be holding my breath. But if you follow feminist logic on abortion then they cannot condemn abortion, no matter what the reason. Feminists have no grounds for being critical of someone who kills their unborn girl purely for being a girl.

How liberating is that?

ABC Puts Out Lie About Late Term Abortion

The audacity of the claim that late term abortions are essentially "miscarriages of stillborn babies" is completely absurd.

The intentional murder of an unborn baby that is viable and almost to the end of the third trimester in infanticide pure and simple. It is hard to believe that the doctor in the video can talk so matter of fact about killing a helpless unborn baby.
